IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA
May 10, 2002,
first inauguration ceremony was held in Shahnawaz Restaurant by
American Urdu Writers Society. This evening was presided by Mr. Syed Hasan.
Chief Guests of the evening were Mr. Hamid Amrohvi (Chicago) and
Mr. Nasir Khan Nasir (New Orleanse). Irfan's Parents Mr. Syed Murtaza Ali
and Idreesa Begum inaugurated this book.

This evening was
held by Bazm-e-Arbaab-e-Sukhan (SFO).
Mr. Jehaangir Hamdaani presided the evening. Mr. Khalid Khaja,
Mr. Abdul Rehman Siddiqui were mehmaanaan-e-Khusoosi of the program.

This special
evening was presided by Dr. Sohail Masood. Dr. Jehangir Hamdani was
the guest speaker of the evening. "PURAANAY GHER KAY MOSAM" was the
first Urdu Poetry Book that was honored and recognized by Barnes and Noble in
California.
